Panafrican Equipment launches latest Komatsu Motor Graders and Excavators

Construction equipment distributor Panafrican Equipment Kenya has launched two new models of earth-moving equipment. These are the Komatsu PC210-10M0 Excavator and the GD555 Motor Grader with new technological advancements which are expected to boost the construction industry in East Africa. Speaking during the launch and customer open day at the company’s Mombasa Road premises, Panafrican Equipment Country Manager for Kenya and Uganda Michael Ohawa said, “The construction industry is experiencing a dynamic era of rapid innovation. As new technologies come on board, our partners are improving products to enhance machine efficiency, better uptime, longer lifecycle, telematics, safety, comfort and other customer solutions. This is great news for buyers who expect for value for money”.

Ohawa described the Komatsu PC210-10M0 excavator as both a powerful and efficient machines that offers greater productivity, reliability and enhanced operator comfort with the latest cab-based information technology. It boasts improved fuel efficiency and engine control as well as superior ability to handle the difficult terrains of Kenya.Turning to graders, he explained that the GD555 Motor Grader as the best-in-class machine for every job site, offering improved accuracy, versatility and ease of operation.

It boasts the longest wheelbase in its class, easily accommodates a wider blade, and with automatic switching between manual and automatic transmission enhances its efficiency. Its outstanding power transmission delivers greater productivity in any application from fine to heavy grading.Like all Komatsu equipment, the new machines are supported with stocks genuine spare parts and professional aftersales service.
