ViVO Y21 Tipped to Launch in Kenya

Vivo is reportedly planning to refresh its Y-series smartphone lineup in Kenya with vivo Y21. The device is tipped to launch next week on the 28th.

The new vivo Y21 will be promoted as the slimmest 5,000mAh-backed phone with an 8.0mm Sleek Design. It will be a budget phone sporting a 6.51 – inch HD Plus Display (1600 by720) and will carry MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with 4GB RAM which comes with an extended 1GB RAM. This is an upgraded function to make the device faster and smoother when handling heavy operations such as playing games and multitasking. The battery will come with an 18W fast charging technology.

According to vivo, the device will be replacing the previous model, the vivo Y20 to keep the series fresh and interesting.

‘’We seek to continue creating products with high performance and trendsetting design at an affordable price, vivo Y21, will be an exciting model that covers the key aspects yet affordable.’’

Additionally, the vivo Y21 will be running on Android version 11 powered by vivo’s Funtouch OS 11.1. For the camera, it will spot a front 8MP for selfies and a dual-camera 13MP + 2MP.

The price and the availability shall be announced on the launch day.
