Final: Kabras Sugar 7s 19-5 Menengai Oilers
Kabras trailed 0-5 at halftime but hit back through Derrick Ashihundu, Rayvon Ambale (try + conversion), and Fredrick Wangila (converted by Michael Lukusi). The win gives Kabras the Dala 7s title and the overall SportPesa circuit lead.
“We came too short in Nakuru, losing in the final, but we knew we had it in us to win here.” said Kabras captain Mathias Osimbo.
3rd place (ET): Mwamba 7s 22-17 Kenya Harlequins
Level at 17-17 after full time. Mwamba captain Shaquel Bosire scored the winner in extra time.
KCB’s exit: Unbeaten in the Prinsloo Sevens, KCB drew 19-19 with MMUST in the pools before losing to Harlequins in the quarter-finals, the tournament’s biggest shock. They finished 5th, beating Strathmore 24-17.
Women’s final: Mwamba Ladies 10-7 Kenya Harlequins
A last-minute try secured Mwamba a second straight Division One title and KES 100,000.
Division 2 final (Impala Club): Catholic Monks 20-14 Stallions
Catholic Monks earn promotion and KES 70,000; Stallions take KES 30,000 as runners-up.
