FedEx, Feed the Children Launch Kajiado Initiative to Promote Healthier Futures

Federal Express Corporation and Feed the Children have launched the Clean Futures Alliance in Kenya, supporting improved Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) outcomes for children in Kajiado County.

The initiative, delivered through the FedEx Cares program, is supporting improved Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) outcomes for 2,400 school-aged children and adolescents in Bisil.

Children will receive personal hygiene kits and take part in hygiene education sessions aimed at building healthier daily habits.

“Through the Clean Futures Alliance, our team members are bringing that commitment to life by supporting children and families in Kenya and creating meaningful impact where we live and work,” Teixeira added.

On the ground, WASH education sessions were held at Inkati and Noontoto primary schools, with FedEx team members personally packing and distributing hygiene kits to students as part of the rollout.

Emily Callahan, president and CEO of Feed the Children, echoed the sentiment behind the partnership. “Access to hygiene supports children’s health, confidence and ability to stay engaged in school. Our continued collaboration with FedEx is helping expand community-driven solutions that enable children and families to build healthier futures,” she said.

The Clean Futures Alliance builds on a longstanding relationship between FedEx and Feed the Children, reaffirming both organizations’ shared commitment to stronger, healthier communities across Kenya.
