fly748.com is intensifying its engagement with Kenya’s cooperative movement as it seeks to tap into the growing demand for domestic business and leisure travel across the country.

The airline is positioning itself to serve cooperative societies, investors, and millions of SACCO members whose activities continue to play a significant role in driving Kenya’s socioeconomic development.

As part of this strategy, fly748.com participated in the Cooperative Expo Nairobi Edition 2026, using the platform to showcase its services and strengthen relationships with stakeholders in the cooperative sector.

Speaking during the Expo, fly748.com Head of Scheduled Services George Oduor said the cooperative movement presents a significant opportunity for the aviation industry due to its vast membership and diverse travel needs.

“The cooperative movement represents a powerful economic force with millions of members who travel for business, investment, family, and leisure. Through this Expo, we are showcasing fly748.com as a reliable airline that understands the travel needs of SACCO members, business travelers, families, and organized groups across Kenya,” said Oduor.

The airline participated in the event under the umbrella of the 748 SACCO. The Expo, held on May 29, 2026, was organized by Credence Africa in partnership with the Nairobi County Government and brought together key players in the cooperative movement under the theme, “Cooperatives Powering Socioeconomic Inclusion.”

Kenya’s cooperative sector remains one of the country’s most influential economic pillars, with Nairobi County accounting for more than 60 percent of the movement. The county hosts over 5,000 SACCOs and more than 2.6 million members, highlighting the sector’s substantial contribution to economic growth and financial inclusion.

The Expo provided an opportunity for fly748.com to engage directly with SACCO leaders, members, and investors while exploring potential partnerships aimed at enhancing mobility and connectivity for cooperative societies across the country.

The airline recently relaunched its scheduled passenger operations on May 1, 2026, and currently operates two daily flights between Nairobi and Mombasa, as well as a daily service to Ukunda. The routes are designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers seeking reliable and convenient air transport.

Oduor noted that the airline’s participation in the Expo reflects its commitment to expanding access to air travel while building strategic relationships with SACCOs and cooperative societies nationwide.

“Backed by over 31 years of proven aviation experience in some of the world’s most demanding operating environments, we deliver reliable schedules, on-time departures, high safety standards, and an exceptional customer experience,” he said.

He added that the carrier aims to support a broad customer base, including corporate executives, SACCO members, tourists, families, and leisure travelers seeking dependable connections between Nairobi and Kenya’s coastal destinations.

The Cooperative Expo Nairobi Edition 2026 served as a key platform for networking, market access, investment opportunities, and collaboration among cooperatives and businesses, reinforcing the growing role of the sector in shaping Kenya’s economic future.

For fly748.com, the engagement signals a broader effort to align its services with emerging market segments and strengthen its presence in Kenya’s domestic aviation industry through partnerships with one of the country’s most dynamic economic movements.
